A Novel Non-Coherent SCMA With Massive MIMO

The synergistic amalgamation of sparse code multiple access (SCMA) and multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technologies can be exploited for improving spectral efficiency providing enhanced wireless services to massive users. In this case, however, channel estimation is a burning issue with the increasing number users and/or antennas. To tackle problem, we propose novel non-coherent transmission scheme SCMA, referred as NC-SCMA. proposed NC-SCMA, each user first maps its binary data codewords, then perform differential modulation on non-zero dimensions. Upon receiving all users’ signals, leverage hardening effect carry out demodulation multi-user detection without any instantaneous state information. addition, design codebooks in NC-SCMA system investigated aid pair-wise probability. Numerical results demonstrate superiority technique over benchmark terms bit error rate performance.
